Kirby Seid
 For the past 25 years, Kirby Seid has traveled the world for crystals, fossils and ancient artifacts with his mineral business and has taught crystal and light workshops and designed visionary tools for spiritual and healing practices and teachers. Kirby has a B.A. degree in
psychology from UC Santa Cruz and teaches visionary Light Labyrinth
workshops across the US, including seminars at Omega Institute in New York. He has been developing the Light Labyrinth Project in collaboration with artists and scientists who have worked with the Exploratorium in San Francisco and Apple Computer.

The Light Labyrinth
Journey through transcendent beauty with The Light Labyrinth, a
powerful new technology combining spectacular crystals with exquisite
computerized light programs. The Light Labyrinth combines shamanic
wisdom, cutting edge light/mind technologies and ancient crystals to
access shamanic meditative experiences. The Light Labyrinth
incorporates nine sophisticated computer generated programs of dazzling
light, color and strobe brainwave frequencies that are projected into
the fractals, fissures and veils of spectacular quartz crystals and
create dynamic visual effects that encourage shifts in consciousness.
The Light Labyrinth and quartz crystals facilitate liminal states- the
spaces between conscious and unconscious, like dreaming- to create
illuminated pathways for inner exploration.
The Light Labyrinth with Music and Voice-Tone Visualizers utilize
advanced light/mind technologies to help viewers break out of normal
consciousness and access hypnogogic trance states for deep meditation,
self-awareness and transformational experiences. The Light Labyrinth is
a multidimensional Labyrinth, a guide to our own deepest center and back
again. The Light Labyrinth Expanded incorporates over 270 super bright
LED colored lights, 9 complex strobe frequency light form programs,
Dream programs (non-strobing), and Alpha, Theta, Delta and variable
frequency settings with a remote control for an exciting interactive
experience.
The Music Visualizer creates an experience of synethesia, allowing
viewers to see what they are hearing and sense patterns in music and
sound they would not normally perceive. This creates a multisensory
experience of sound and music and helps viewers observe the deeper,
often hidden, patterns of music. The brilliant LED colors of the Light
Labyrinth are each assigned a range of sound frequencies. The colors
blend and dance to the ranges of sound frequency when played with any
form of music for spectacular results. The color and light sensitivity
to the sound frequency can be adjusted. This enables the Light Labyrinth
viewer to fine-tune The Music Visualizer to a specific musical
sensitivity. The Voice-Tone Visualizer allows for voice activation so
that you can see the tones you are sounding! Each color is assigned a
pure note tone for brilliant color activation. This allows the viewer to
sing in color!
The quartz crystals we work with began evolving deep within the earth
thousands of years ago, changing and growing at the same majestic pace
as the planet itself. Geological forces acting upon these crystalline
matrices of silicon dioxide produced multiple geometric effects -
refractive planes, fissures, inclusions - within the landscape of each
crystal. As The Light Labyrinths intense color streams highlight these
historical markers, they become portals to other levels of awareness. We
are invited upon a journey in which time stands still and galaxies
expand. The ancient quartz crystals act as resonance amplifiers that
reflect and translate energies to and from the brain and, when viewed
with The Light Labyrinth, have helped viewers tap into accelerated
learning/healing states and intuitions from the unseen.
